Milton Art Classes Policies
REGISTRATION
Your spot in the class or program of your choice will be saved only upon registration and payment. Payment and registration are only processed if there is room in the course.
PAYMENT
All classes and events are pre-registered, full payment is due upon registration. We accept cash, personal checks and e-transfer. Please make checks payable to Y3.studio. There is a $25 charge for returned checks. All payments are subject to 13% HST.
REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS
No refunds will be issued after registration and payment.
If the class is cancelled by the instructor it will be rescheduled. If rescheduling would not be possible, students will be compensated for the cancelled class.
MISSED CLASSES
If you have to miss a class, please let us know of your absence in advance. IF A CLASS MISSED WITHOUT NOTIFYING US, there will be NO REFUNDS or credits.
Any student missing more than 2 weeks without notifying, will be removed from the schedule.
PUNCTUALITY
Please be ON TIME for your class. Do not drop off your child early or leave them at the studio past their class time. We really need planning time before the class to make sure the studio is prepared to welcome our students. We reserve the right to CHARGE FOR EXTRA TIME.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Parents/guardians are required to inform Milton Art Classes at the time of registration of any allergies, or physical, emotional, or learning needs their children may have.
The Studio is not responsible for monitoring who drops off and picks up your child(ren). It is your responsibility to ensure the safe and timely drop-off and pick-up of your child(ren).
PARKING
Vehicles should be parked on a driveway or on the street where permitted.
PHOTOGRAPHS AND RECORDINGS
Milton Art Classes events, workshops and classes may be recorded and photographed for marketing, website, social media, archival and/or other purposes. Your attendance at any class, party or event at Milton Art Classes shall be deemed your consent to appear in such programming and/or photographs without compensation or additional approval of any kind. Should you object to the use of your photo or your child’s photo in promotional materials, please inform us in writing at the time of registration.
WEATHER POLICY
Even though we may be open for classes, please don’t feel like you need to travel to the studio if you are questioning the trip at all. In case of bad weather make-up class will be offered. Ultimately we want everyone to be safe.
HEALTH
Please practice good hygiene: wash or sanitize your hands often, and cover your cough or sneeze.
EMERGENCY
Milton Art Classes does not anticipate an issue, but if there was a serious emergency, our first response would be to call 911 and the emergency contact information for the child in need of emergency care. Students and their parents/legal guardians agree not to hold Milton Art Classes responsible for any injuries resulted from activities before, during or after class.
IMPORTANT NOTES
We recommend that students wear clothing that can get dirty and that can be easily cleaned. We cannot be held responsible for any clothing that gets damaged during art classes.
Please remove shoes before entering classroom.
No cell phone use is allowed in the studio.
No food or drinks allowed in the classroom (only water).
No pets allowed in the studio.
Due to storage restrictions we cannot keep any unclaimed artwork after 1 month.
Please know that in the event of serious behavioural issues, our policy is to call the parents for immediate pickup.
Parents are not permitted to stay and wait in the studio during class.
